Taurus Season Tarot Forecast + Journal Prompts
For each week of Taurus season, I’ve provided a reading and journal prompts for the Tarot card associated in the Cosmic Energy Report forecast. Listen here to follow along with the tarot and astrology messages for the month!
As we enter an earth season, you may find more tangible steps and opportunities available. Feeling grounded, stepping into new endeavours with confidence and purpose will feel aligned and exciting! Trust that you will know what you are meant to do next, and be open to where that inspiration may come from as you take action. I have been receiving a lot of messages reminding me how important it is to recognize when I am doing something because I feel like I “should” be doing it. The “shoulds” are more harmful than we may think when it comes to achieving our dreams. We have a capacity, and need to have energy for what we truly want. Earth energy will not allow you to stray too far into illusion, and your discernment is to be honoured this month.
More than anything, enjoy the moment. See all of the beauty in the present moment that exists because of past choices and steps you’ve made to get closer to the dream you’re cultivating. This is a season to release what doesn’t align and to embrace the new growth emerging. You deserve to enjoy the fruits of your labour while you’re still in the process!
Taurus Season Weekly Readings and Journal Prompts
Knight of Swords (April 19-26)
-
The Knight of Swords can feel a little daunting, can’t it? There’s always that bit of urgency associated with him that makes us question whether we’re running towards something great or running away from our fears. In our current cosmic climate, this card is telling us to take brave steps toward our dreams, even though it may not seem to make sense. The smallest choices could have a huge impact on your long-term goals. Picture yourself catching a glimpse of a motorcycle up ahead – that extra speed boost we’ve all been craving!
The presence of the crow flying ahead truly symbolizes our guides leading the way, asking us to trust that we are moving in the right direction. Let's outrun our doubts and trust that our dreams are valid and worthy of this urgency!
What really fascinates me about the Knight of Swords is his resilience. He’s on a mission, and he’s moving fast, almost desperately, to outpace the whispering doubts waiting to hold him back. It’s this laser focus that encourages us to take action before our courage fades into the shadow of doubt. Reflecting on times in my life when I just knew the move I was making was right – like diving back into school or committing to my creative projects even when it seemed crazy – this card is a nudge to remember those instances. Staying one step ahead of self-doubt is not running away from reality - it’s embracing the momentum and chasing after what sets our souls on fire. So, let's channel this energy and trust in our ability to make swift, bold moves toward our future!

Reflect on a time when you felt a sense of urgency pushing you forward. Was it fear-based or excitement-based? How can you harness this energy positively today?

7 of Cups (April 27 - May 3)
-
The Seven of Cups always brings a hefty dose of introspection, which is helpful to validate our choices. It’s that card that makes you pause and survey all the options spread before you – the good, the illusory, and the downright confusing. The trick here is not to get paralyzed by choice. When in doubt, always choose what feels most authentic to you. It's okay to seek clarity but eventually, you need to trust your own intuition and discernment.
Think of this as an invitation to tune into your dreams and aspirations. What lights you up? What resonates deeply with your soul? These are your answers. Only the answers that come from within are going to move you closer to the life you are building. It is a reflection of your heart, not external feedback and opinions.
What stands out about the Seven of Cups is the need to trust yourself in the face of so many possibilities. It’s like standing in front of a buffet with a plate – you can’t pile everything on, so what do you truly want the most? It goes back to tuning out the noise and the ‘what ifs’ that cloud our judgment. This isn’t about being reckless like others may think. It’s about doing what YOU want so you have no regrets. Maybe it’s time to say no to shiny distractions and focus on that one choice which aligns with your long-term vision.
Remember, this period is about making mindful decisions, not fearing that you’ll pick the wrong cup. The right choice will always resonate with you on a deeper level, and it’s okay to seek clarity and do a gut check before you commit. You will always end up where you’re meant to be!

10 of Swords (May 4-10)
-
The Ten of Swords is a card that often carries a heavy vibe but it offers the promise of hope on the horizon. While it frequently signals endings, it’s crucial to see these endings not as catastrophic but as necessary transitions. Think about it from the perspective that what’s exiting your life right now could very well be making space for something far better.
There’s always a bittersweet element to goodbyes, especially to situations or relationships we’ve grown attached to. But look closely, and you’ll see the dawn breaking through the darkness. This card is a testament to your resilience and the strength you possess, even when faced with life’s hardest moments. It’s likely you’ve already released something, and you are well into the healing process. It’s now time to check in with yourself and recognize if there are any other pieces of the situation that need to be processed.
What’s interesting about the Ten of Swords in this particular deck is its focus on the figure walking towards the bright horizon. It’s less about the pain and more about what comes next. Sure, it acknowledges the struggles and the wounds – but more importantly, it highlights the renewal that follows. I feel strongly that as long as we’re walking forwards, we will meet the next chapter when the timing is right.
Being open is the key. This card invites you to not only recognize but embrace the inevitable transitions. Take it as a sign that you’re on the cusp of new beginnings, poised to rebuild with the wisdom and strength you’ve gathered along the way. It’s a moment of transformation and release, clearing away the old and making space for fresh, empowering starts.

7 Chariot (May 11-17)
-
The Chariot is always such a powerhouse card, full of drive and determination. Whenever it shows up, it’s like the universe giving us the green light to push forward with our plans and ambitions. It’s not just about movement. It’s also about focused, purposeful progress. You’re not scattering your energy, but rather directing it with intention. This card asks you to harness the dual energies of your life – maybe the balance between work and play or the alignment of heart and mind – and get them moving in one unified direction. Trust in your journey and know that you are on the right path, even if it requires adjusting your course along the way.
The beauty of the Chariot lies in its blend of confidence and self-mastery. You’ve put in the work, and now it’s time to channel that energy powerfully. There’s a kind of beautiful synchronicity here – when you align different aspects of your life and direct them towards a common goal, the momentum you build is unstoppable. Think of it as embarking on a road trip with a clear destination in mind. Think back to the first week of Taurus season when the Knight of Swords came rushing in. There is an urgency that the universe will match if you’re brave enough to head in the direction of your desires!
You may hit a few bumps or detours, but the Chariot’s energy ensures you’re guided by a sense of purpose. Own that power, trust in your trajectory, and remember that you’re more than capable of steering the chariot!

Ace of Pentacles (May 18-20)
-
The Ace of Pentacles is the embodiment of new beginnings, particularly in the material realm. Rather than being just about planting seeds, it’s about seeing the first sprouts of your hard work. This card shows up to tell us that whatever we’ve been working on, nurturing, and putting our energy into is now ready to manifest into something tangible and meaningful. It feels like a validation from the universe that all those efforts are about to pay off. Prosperity, stability, and growth are all within reach, but remember, it’s also our job to keep nurturing and maintaining this new growth.
What’s special about the Ace of Pentacles is its invitation to not just start something, but to invest in it – to really commit to seeing it flourish. It’s like receiving a small but sturdy plant - you need to continually water it, make sure it’s getting enough light, and protect it from the elements.
Part of the “new” energy with this card may be that you’re sharing your creation with others for the first time. It is out of the safety of being in the soil and is exposed, which makes you feel vulnerable. Try to remember your intentions for what you’re growing when you receive the first wave of feedback. You have been making moves toward your dreams, and now is not the time to give up. The tangible results are in your hands, or within your reach!
This isn’t a fleeting opportunity. What you’re creating is a long-term commitment to growth and prosperity. Think of it as the universe handing you a roadmap to success, but it’s up to you to follow through and stay dedicated. Keep cultivating what you’ve planted, stay patient, and trust in the process. The rewards might not come overnight, but with consistent effort, they’re sure to be abundant.
