Moldavite + Vanadinite: Grounded Manifestation
Moldavite is a transformative stone, and people are often warned of the intensity of its influence before connecting. I’ll put that out there right away, so you can decide how much you want to call it in! The magic of moldavite is undeniable - unexpected changes, synchronicities, heightened spiritual connection, and abundance are all possible. From my experience, it brings what we need to shake off stagnation. I can see it presenting itself as a force that lends us the courage and confidence to make lingering decisions without doubting ourselves. I have found that my intuition for myself and others has been extra sensitive when I’ve been intentionally connecting with moldavite!
Moldavite came into my life in the fall, at a psychic fair. I have a favourite vendor that I go to for crystals, and I initially didn’t purchase it even though I did pick it up. I’ve never felt drawn to it in all the years I’ve been going to crystal shops and these events, but there was an energy in my hands that told me to go back for it. I went back to their booth and bought a small piece, which set a number of changes in motion. Shortly after setting my intentions for clarity and change, I put my notice in to my apartment manager, took some opportunities to share my art, and prepared for a move in the new year. I secured a space to show my art at The Annex which has lead to some new connections, and teaching my first printmaking class series!
I feel like Tulip, my cat who passed in October, was the one nudging me to pick up my piece of Moldavite again this spring. I am more settled where I am, and am ready for a change! I have had some really cool connections since bringing it and the Vanadinite out again. The very next day, I went to a record store and met the owner, who is really connected in the community. He also gave me an amazing deal on a bunch of cassettes (after letting me go through several boxes that hadn’t even been priced yet!) to play in my walkman. I was inspired to start some music-inspired prints that I’ll be working on this spring, and I know there was something else in the energy there!
Moldavite + Vanadinite Blended
At the holistic fair, I had also bought a piece of Vanadinite. I couldn’t believe how heavy and grounding it was for a small crystal and purchased it immediately! I feel like it was meant to be a complement to the Moldavite. It gives the energy of the Queen of Pentacles, holding space and making everyone feel safe, even when we are faced with The Tower or the Death Card (Moldavite). Vanadinite connects us to the earth and also to sustainable goals. By providing stamina and stability, we are able to focus on what needs to be done when a change or opportunity presents itself. It is associated with the sacral and root chakras, so we have access to creativity while feeling safe.
Both Moldavite and Vanadinite clear blocks, so they work incredibly well when you’re trying to make a big life change! Whether the blocks are internal or external, they don’t stand a chance with this duo. While Moldavite is orchestrating the people and opportunities you need, Vanadinite keeps you focused while the chaos is swirling around you. Expect to have new ideas and a wild number of synchronicities pop up once you set your intentions. You may also find yourself immersed in projects with an endless amount of energy without realizing it!
Transformation + Manifestation
The energy with the Taurus New Moon, and in general right now (listen to the Aries and Taurus episodes of the Cosmic Energy Report with Emily and I for more detail on the collective energy) is really showing up to fast-track our heart-centered dreams! As long as you’re willing to keep moving and taking small steps (Vanadinite) toward what you want, the Universe will create the path for you to follow (Moldavite) as you go. Moldavite works fast, so you may be walking on a moving sidewalk and find yourself face-to-face with what you’re manifesting without a lot of extra effort!
Although this combination does usually help us change our lives with ease, there will still be a lot of inner transformation required. Grief often accompanies exciting new beginnings because they mean leaving a version of ourselves behind. Be patient with yourself, and take the time to process. You may also find that a lot of growth is required to embody the courage and confidence it takes to do what it is you are working towards. Your Spirit Team will be behind you all the way, sending you signs and intuitive insights that will guide you. Discernment will be heightened and you will have everything you need for the next chapter of your life. Abundance and fulfillment are part of the package!
How to work with this energy?
I have shared a ritual below, and also the major characteristics of each crystal for you to determine how you’d like to work with them. You also can decide if you’d like to focus on one of them only at this time, one after the other, or both together as I have. I recommend having strong intentions for what you are calling in, whether it’s a specific job, project or opportunity, or an area of life that you know you want to change. Like you’ve probably heard in most manifestation rituals, connecting to how you want to feel is important. You can even manifest joy, love or abundance and trust that whatever comes is for your highest good.
Something I have done when working with specific crystals is to create an affirmation or mantra that I associate with the intention. It could be something like, “Moldavite, guide me to my highest potential and opportunities for growth. Vanadinite, support me in grounding and taking aligned action toward my vision. Together, bring me to the version of myself that is met with love, ease and abundance.”
Since I’ve been connecting with them, I have felt my trust in the unknown strengthen. I can actually feel in my body how close opportunities are and I know that I’m on the right path. Every time I question it, another connection or synchronicity shows up! You may have a lot of insights come through when you journal with Moldavite and Vanadinite. They both hold strong energy, so I feel like you could receive some clear and supportive messages. This is part of the ritual I’ve shared as well.

Write an intention for both crystals together: Your biggest dream, or what you’re manifesting
Go through all of the senses with Moldavite and Vanadinite separately. If you don’t have these crystals, connect with their energy. You can hold clear quartz if it helps to connect!
Journal what came through and give yourself time to free write.
Create a small altar with the crystals and anything that represents your dream or manifestation. Place the items in a container with meaning - a handmade bowl, shell, bed of leaves - to enhance the intention.
